Panic! at the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is made out of Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his youth pal, Spencer Smiths (drums), along side their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, k-biz keyboard, backing vocals).
To sell their tune, the band made contact with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) by using his LiveJournal webpage. Impressed through the band, Wentz personally met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band published their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which may debut at #112 on the Billboard two hundred album charts.
Featured in Spin mag as their band of the day in early October 2005, achieving #1 at the MySpace chart, and continually staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, would in basic terms assist develop the bands repute. An appearance on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, at the choicest in their music video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band a lot publicity.
